:joyheart::open:
A silent breeze blew outside a cluster of caves, heralding the chill of leaf-bare, but inside all was calm. Only a few stray flakes of snow found their way into the sheltered area, lingering near the entrance. Gems dotted the stone walls; picking up the light of an early day and scattering it in a colorful aura, giving light to the chamber.
Inside a den the light filtered through while a tortoiseshell she-cat paced impatiently, her belly swollen with the unborn kits. Her maw was twisted into an expression of worry; this was her first litter, and she had no idea about anything. A sudden chill crossed her thick winter coat and she shivered, reminded of the cold conditions outside the camp, outside the cave. This only added to her anxious worries, which seemed to mount on her like the fresh-kill pile of a plentiful greenleaf.
Joyheart shook her head, muttering to herself. "I need to stay calm, I'll be ok...it's alright...I'll be ok..." The young she-cat repeated to herself, in a vain attempt to calm her nerves. She heaved a sigh, a pain knotting in her stomach. The young feline could not guess whether it was from the kits she bore or the nervousness they brought with them. Padding with delicate steps to the back of the den, she turned an emerald glance over her shoulder, wandering if Silverwind or Dewdrop could help her out.
